Craig Pingle, General Manager

CRAIG PINGLE grew up in Georgian Bay, Ontario. He started his career as a dishwasher at Horseshoe Valley Resort and has since worked in almost every hospitality role there is. Craig studied Hospitality Management at Georgian College while working at The Toronto Golf Club. After his schooling, Craig visited over 30 countries in 4 years while backpacking. A few of the adventures included working as a papaya farmer in northern Queensland where he raised a baby wallaby and spending time in a small fishing village in the south of Italy. Settling in Vancouver in 2010, Craig managed various restaurants including General Manager of Cardero’s Restaurant in Coal Harbour and the iconic Teahouse Restaurant in Stanley Park. Craig then moved his young family to the Okanagan Valley in 2019 and worked as Director, Guest Experience at Mission Hill for three years. He is now the General Manager of Okanagan Crush Pad where he’s focusing his efforts on launching a new hospitality space and production expansion at the winery’s Summerland location on Switchback Organic Vineyard. Craig lives in Peachland with his beautiful wife and three little boys. In his free time Craig loves exploring BC on camping adventures, boating, golfing and hosting backyard BBQ’s for friends and family.
